    Details

A high potency bioavailable complex combining Executive Stress herbs with B group vitamins.

Thompson's Ultra B supplement may be useful in relieving the many symptoms of stress, such as gastrointestinal upsets, nervous disorders and lowered immune function. Ultra B may prove useful in a wide range of stress-related conditions, such as fatigue, colds and flu's, allergies, menstrual cycle irregularities, asthma, eczema and other skin conditions. Gastrointestinal problems resulting from stress such as cramps, nausea may also find relief with this comprehensive formula. Despite the differing stresses in our lives the body’s reaction to stress is universal. A ‘fight or flight’ response is triggered by the adrenal glands releasing adrenaline into the bloodstream, causing the heart to beat faster, dilation of the respiratory passages and raised blood pressure. Digestion is interrupted as blood flows to the muscles and blood sugar increases to provide energy to ‘fight or flee’. This response is primal and was appropriate in situations that demanded an immediate physical response such as escaping from danger. However, today we are often required to deal with chronic stress from which we are unable to escape. These constant demands result in the physical and mental symptoms of stress, such as exhaustion, nervous disorders and lowered immune function.

A wide range of disorders can often be attributed to stress, such as colds and flu’s, allergies, menstrual cycle irregularities, asthma, eczema and other skin conditions. Thompson’s Ultra B is a high potency B Complex with a selection of key nutrients and herbs designed specifically to aid the body in dealing with stress. Ultra B supplements the body’s normal requirements plus those additional needs bought about as a result of modern demands. This comprehensive formula contains the herbs valerian, passionflower and skullcap. Western herbalists have used these medicinal plants for centuries to help the body cope more efficiently with stress. Valerian is a nervous system relaxant and sedative, easing anxiety and tension and aiding sleep, passionflower is a gentle sedative herb for the whole nervous and muscular system and skullcap helps to calm a busy overworked mind and body.
